After the Harlem Renaissance many
things began to disclose, it instituted a new image of the African American
race. It paved the way for many influential black writer, artists, thinkers and
many more to get their influence into the world which will prove to encourage
and inspire for many more decades, look at the civil rights movement it has
brought forth original, cultural works to set high standards of the classics
for both black and American culture. Also a huge
number these of artists both literary and artistic became internationally recognized
during this period as legitimate sources. This movement has bestowed to Harlem
a popular spot in people’s minds, even if they do not know about the cultural
events that occurred here, and even if it is nothing to look at with awe these
days, it forged Harlem into the social, and political capital of black America.
Its achievements either directly or indirectly resulted, in later important
African American advances, and milestones such as the civil rights movement. It
caused people to finally look at black culture, and everything about it, and
develop an interest, as well as admiration for it, mimicking the culture in all
ways including its language, fashion, music, art, dances, and many more aspects
of the culture. After the Harlem renaissance nothing else would really pop up
until the Civil rights movement, created by a new Negro race looking for
equality, and the golden age they once had. Soon after the Civil rights
movement ended a new movement of literature, music, and art engulfed the black
community once again but this time the movement is more illicit since blacks
now have the freedom they have always longed for, and completely took full
swing in the new black movement, and continues to this day!
